The original “Lucy and the Red Shoes” was painted in 2003 with acrylic paint and color pencils on canvas. The size of the original is 120 x187 cm (47 x 74″). The artwork can be seen in PANORAMA 187 in Marbella. There is a photo documentation of the progress from the white canvas to the finished artwork.

What is the best size for an artwork?

The artwork should take up 4/7 to 3/4 of the available wall space. Measure your available wall space in cm or inches, and multiply it by 0.6 up to 0.75. For example: If you have 270 cm (105”) of space it means, an artwork of 160 cm (63”) width would look fabulous there.
