SOME OF THOSE DAYS by Nina Nolte
The original artwork SOME OF THOSE DAYS forms part of German artist Nina Nolte ´s series THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
SOME OF THOSE DAYS offers a glimpse into a serene moment shared by two friends seated on the steps of a spa. The crystal-clear turquoise water gently envelops them, reaching up to their shoulders. The transparency of the water allows their submerged figures to remain visible. Both don elegant dark swimsuits, their hair concealed beneath vibrant turbans—one a sunny yellow, the other a warm orange-red. Shielded by dark sunglasses, they each cradle a glass filled with the refreshing hues of Campari Orange.
With their gaze fixed on the horizon, the viewer observes them from a bird’s-eye perspective. The play of bright light from the spa’s dome creates white reflections on the water, lending an ethereal glow to the surroundings. These graceful ladies evoke the spirit of the sixties.
The original artwork measures 100 x 160 cm (39.5×63″) and was crafted in 2011 using acrylic paint, color pencils, and pastels on canvas. It graced the ‘Strong Women’ exhibition at the MAC Museum in Singen, Germany, in 2018, and now resides in a private art collection.
ABOUT THE MATERIALS
To ensure that Nina Nolte’s art is accessible to all enthusiasts, an innovative system for exclusive art prints has been developed—easy to transport and straightforward to assemble.
A special source of pride is our sustainable fabric, EcoWeave, created from recycled PET bottles. Through a high-resolution digital print and a fine weave, a distinct picture definition is achieved. The inks used are both solvent-free and waterproof.
In a conscious effort to support environmental sustainability, we’ve implemented an efficient packing system that minimizes space. This not only benefits the environment but also translates to attractive and reduced shipping costs.
The prints come with a silicon rubber border along the edges, ensuring a secure fit within the accompanying aluminum frame, included in the price.
Every order is accompanied by clear assembly instructions and hanging materials, with the provided allen key making assembly a breeze.
THE OPTIMAL SIZE FOR YOUR ARTWORK
To achieve the optimal artwork size, aim for it to occupy 4/7 to 3/4 of the available wall space. Simply measure your space in centimeters or inches, then multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. For example, with 270 cm (105”) of space, an artwork with a width of 160 cm (63”) would be an ideal fit.
We offer three standard sizes: Small, Medium, and Large, with personalized sizes available upon request. Contact us for more information.
